Hi, I’m Toni Lipsey, the crochet designer, educator and certified color lover behind TL Yarn Crafts.
After years of sharing crochet tutorials online, I knew makers needed more than a comments section. We needed a place where we could ask questions, share works in progress, learn new skills and celebrate every hard-earned finished object together.
That’s why we created the Yarn Hive. Together, we’ve made it everything we always wanted social media to be: real connection, creative inspiration and shared experiences, without having to fight an algorithm just to be seen.
Today, the Hive is home to more than 1,000 Honeybees from around the world. Some are learning their very first stitches. Others have been crocheting for decades. Everyone brings their own experience, ideas and creative spark, and that mix is what makes our community so special.
This is a place where you can ask for help without feeling intimidated, share a project before it’s picture-perfect and know someone will be just as excited about your yarn delivery as you are.
When you’re stuck, there’s usually a Honeybee ready with a suggestion. When you finish something you never thought you could make, the whole Hive is ready to celebrate. And when your creative spark needs a little boost, you’ll find no shortage of inspiration waiting for you.
Our Beekeepers help keep the conversations welcoming, organized and buzzing, so you can jump in, find what you need and feel at home from the start.
The Hive grows right alongside its members, too. Many of our events, conversations and new ideas begin with what Honeybees want to learn, make or explore next. This is a community we continue building together.
The Yarn Hive brings the complete library of TL Yarn Crafts project tutorials into one easy-to-browse place, with ad-free videos and the PDF pattern included.
But a great pattern is only the beginning.
